Apple Mail - "content" command suddenly does not work

  • Subject: Apple Mail - "content" command suddenly does not work

The following command has always worked for me (under both Tiger and Leopard). Today it just sits there and times out (on Leopard).

tell application "Mail"
set x to content of message 1 of mailbox "AS-Users" as text --(as well as message 2, 3, 4 just to make sure it wasn't just one of the messages)
end tell

Adding a "get" before content doesn't help. I even tried a permissions repair. Any Ideas?

Joe
