Ah. Okay, that's useful information.  (As I said, I don't script Excel, so I
don't know how it works...AppleScript-wise.)

So the OP's inner-listing is warranted, but s/he still has a problem with
the appending empty lists {""} to the end of the match list.

But, I'll let that go.  I think I've offered all I can on that, until a more
complete script is produced.
