Scripting PowerPoint save command

  • Subject: Scripting PowerPoint save command

I need to include the PPT (2004) save command in a script but I can't find the exact syntax of the command anywhere. The PPT dictionnary provides the following:

save v : Save an object
save specifier : the object to save
[in Macintosh path/Posix path] : the file in which to save the object
[as save as presentation/save as template/save as RTF/save as show/ save as addIn/save as default/save as HTML] : the file type of the document in which to save the data

but I don't understand enough how to use it. I know how to get the file name and path but don't know how to apply the information to the command.

I have found references to the some documentation on the MS site but they seem to have redesigned the site for Office 2008 which breaks all the links.

Would anybody have the complete syntax of the command with some examples of use. I just want to save a file to a particular directory.

TIA. Yves.
