Why would you expect "run script" to automagically accept as input something that obviously needs special provision?
I wouldn't! I was just pointing out (with a negative example) that the code provided does not work (in pathological cases).
More important: You also prooved Chris right, because the pain is now increasing!
I'm not sure Chris was considering "run script", which is an official way for compiling/running text as a script... ;-)
Neither do I. But nevertheless: What was provided here is just a "painful path" ;-)

BTW: We shouldn't forget to escape quotes in values!
