Downloading messages

Hi,

I just tried to look at an applescript-usersmessage that I had moved into a new Mail subdirectory. Up came this Mail message:

The message from BareFeet <email@hidden> concerning “Re: How to parse CSV” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.

What do I have to do to get copies of this and several other messages onto my Mac? How do I prevent this in the future? ;-( ;-(
