Now, this works fine, (all the variables are defined and working ok)
but Entourage then brings up its warning dialogue about a script trying to send a message.
Is there any way around this?
Yes.
Or is it a matter of turning that warning off within Entourage?
Yes.
That would be a pity and a security risk..
Not really. I have never heard of a single example as yet. It's for people who are nervous about such things and have heard about Outlook-spread viruses on Windows from a few years ago. Microsoft is sensitive to such things, so they put the warning in. If you're going to script regularly, you have to turn it off. It's there precisely to let people know if some script is trying to send a message without their knowledge. So you know you're trying to send a message by script, turn it off.
Thoughts please!
Apologies if the way I write questions makes them difficult to understand.
You're doing fine.
