Apple remote desktop script?

Hello,
Is there an apple script or Automator action that will will turn on and off Apple remote desktop "client" or, under Leopard , Remote Management?
The reason behind this is our help desk would like to simply their "hand holding process".

By default we have apple remote disabled on our faculty computers, faculty don't like to think they could be spied on at anytime.

An app/script that the end user in need of assistance could click to turn on the client rather then have the help desk worker walk them through turning on the service would greatly help our support staff.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thank you in advance
