Leopard(?) strikes again

Wizards,

I have been ignoring all the chatter about Leopard and text changes, now it looks like it has come back to haunt me.

This snippet seems to me like it should work. But I get an error "Can't make (text returned:"2", button returned:"OK) into type string.".

set x to display dialog "What do you wish to change from?" default answer ""
display dialog x
