Looking for any information/samples to achieve a pure AppleScript to SQL database solution. Thanks!

I don't know if something based on "do shell script" is pure or not, but I have been happily using the page from "Yarra Valley Software" called "mySQL4AppleScript" (beta 0.3) for some time. Unfortunately, it looks as if it has been withdrawn from the web (but we all know how successful that can be) see http://www.yvs.eu.com/otherproducts.html for more info.

It has worked flawlessly (iirc) for me, though my active development with it was a year or two ago. Now I just run those scripts.
