To be honest, I just changed Michael's code:
set this_plistfile to make new property list file with properties {contents:parent_dictionary, name:plistfile_path}
into:
make new property list file with properties {name:"~/Desktop/Cookies.plist", contents:NewPL}
without thinking further.


Indeed, it worked here with Leopard.
But just tried now on Tiger, and it doesn't work very well...
