"finder window" is what you are calling "folder window". It does
not have a selection property, though.
You're right. 'exists Finder window 1' only refers to a folder
window, never to an Info window. (in Tiger, at least.)
'information window' is a completely different window class. I had
trouble with this once, but I can't remember the details, since the
problem was not recent.
