This seems to work without error for me; so thanks for the help, Skeeve. But can you please help me understand the function of the \'' (backslash-apostrophe-apostrophe) before the "tell", and also the '\' apsotrophe-backslash-apostrophe at the end?

I don't understand how it can start with an unescaped apostrophe but end with an escaped one. There's something here that I haven't learned (and need to). Thanks.
