QuickBooks 2007

Hello to all:

I have a demo version of Quickbooks 2007 Mac. The script editor, indeed shows a pretty comprehensive list of items. Has anyone done anything along these lines. Some blogs suggest that all that stuff is window dressing and very little is actually implemented.

Any suggestions, help or direction is greatly appreciated.
