Thank you all for your much appreciated help. I most humbly apologize for my ignorance of not recognizing what "/mount/point" meant. I thought it was a literal instruction.

"/Volumes/<your disk name here> | grep UUID" would not have been "an infinitely thorough answer." I also accept that you all know each other well enough to minimize (often unnecessary) elaborations! I was in error.

My sincere apologies and my thanks to all of you again for all your help . . . and your patience!
