If you're talking about a LoginHook (script that executes after a user logs in); it should work fine....though I'm not sure how the compiled app comes into play there....

You want to use a bash script file...make sure the executable bit and permissions are set properly.

After that, read this:
http://www.bombich.com/mactips/loginhooks.html

So long as you have the proper path set in WGM, it SHOULD be ok...though we often place a script in each individual computer and set this as the loginhook from each computer rather than from WGM itself....just seen some weird issues there.

So long as the script works on the client, then you can migrate the script usage to WGM.

Thanks,
jeremy

-------- Hello all:

I was pointed by me Apple Sys admin to Apple Script editor for making a
login script.

I have two files -- one is a compiled .app one is an uncompiled .scpt file
and I have also tried a .sh

What must be done to use a script in the login scrip area of Workgroup
Manager?
