Doesn't help me. The only languages that show up in Script Editor on
my machine with this version are Python, Ruby, and sh, and when I
try to run (or even compile) a simple non-AS script (puts "hello
world") Script Editor crashes. m.
The languages available in this release are perl, python, ruby, sh,
and Tcl. If you're not seeing them all then maybe you didn't install
all the components. You may want to check for previous versions and
remove them (both from /Library/Components and ~/Library/Components).
In Script Editor (Leopard 10.5.3), if I choose say "ruby" from the
language popup then type:
puts "Hello World!";
and run the script, then the result displayed is:
Hello World!
I'm sending you a picture off list to show what it looks like in
Script Editor.
