Er...I wouldn't say that as an absolute. Some database and database

clever idea out there. Maybe, just maybe, resource forks are
actually a good idea. And maybe we shouldn't just say "Oh, UNIX
already has directories, we don't need no steenking resource forks".

Since the bisymmetric anatomical organization of humans is self-
evident, it seems reasonable that computers destined for human use
should reflect it at every possible opportunity. Resource forks are an
excellent voicing of that structure.
