do shell script "cp " & quoted form of POSIX path of fileToCopy & space & quoted form of POSIX path of iDiskFolder
This will be much faster than using the Finder.

Subject: Duplicate to iDisk
I have a script that 'duplicates' files from one location to another. For no good reason, I wondered if I could duplicate into a location on my iDisk. Did it work? Well, sort of ... 1. The Finder showed me a progress window as it copied each file, but it was sooooo slooooooooooooooow. 2. My script timed out while waiting. 3. The Finder locked up. Unable to relaunch. Had to do a hardware restart. 4. I looked in the destination folder on my iDisk ... empty! 5. I tried to eject my iDisk, it simply will not eject. 6. Had to do another hardware restart. OK, so it does NOT work.
Is this typical iDisk behavior? or Do I need to use another technique?
