I have narrowed the error down to the AppleScripts, but got no
farther. These scripts all include grep find-replace patterns.
They all worked fine under OS X 10.4.
Does any one of you have an idea what it is I am doing wrong?
No. But one of the more common errors a lot of us have had were/are
file permissions errors. They could be attributed to the upgrade or
one of the Security updates.
There are also considerations in scripts regarding the default
encoding now being Unicode.
I think what you should do is try to narrow it down to the smallest
reproducible case, and then post that script in case others can
duplicate the problem.
