Let me clarify.  system attribute "sysv" is *supposed* to get you all
three, and it does reliably do so for 10.x.y as long as both x and y
are single digits.  But it doesn't work reliably for higher revs. (Are
there any examples other than 10.4.10?  Was there a 10.x.10 for any
earlier release of OS X?)
