What's really needed is the ability in System Events to create a new
plist file.
Something as simple as ...
tell application "System Events"
make new property list file at someLocation with data someRecord
...
But this does not work in Mac OS X 10.4.x.
I hope someone is going to tell us that it DOES work in 10.5.x. (?)
