I finally remembered that I had used the AppleScript Formatting osax years ago. You can download it at
<http://osaxen.com/files/applescriptformatting2.0.html>


However, it was written in 2003, and does not work in Leopard on an Intel Mac. I don't know about any other configurations of hardware and software.

But the source code is included with it; maybe some hardy programmer can update it.
