But Chris N. (and others) said it *does* in Leopard. Then you said it
doesn't in Tiger but you have an osax that does it, which doesn't work in
Leopard. That's fine, since it's not needed in Leopard. You're going in
circles at this point.

I didn't say anything about Leopard that I can recall. I used that OSAX way back when to set the formatting, and haven't changed it since. The formatting has persisted through the various upgrades of the OS, but the OSAX doesn't work in Leopard on my intel Mac.


I do not see where I have contradicted myself or have gone around in circles.
