add "as alias" after "set targetFile to the TextFile"

"the", "a", and some other articles are totally ignored by Applescript.

so. . .
set theTextFile to (theScriptPath & replyTemplateName)
does nothing to define a variable called "theTextFile"

I didn't read it as theTextFile"; I read it as "the TextFile".

Windows was always a mystery to me; the biggest mystery being "Why does anyone want to use this?"
