Oops, didn't realize that was needed. I didn't follow the thread closely
enough...

That is slow. Does your recent version include Nigel's speed optimizations?
(I was going to do a timing comparison, but I couldn't get Nigel's to run
simply paste and run, and I didn't have time to debug).
