Ideas to delete duplicate emails from Inbox?

After some Mail crashes and unsuccessful mailbox rebuilds, I find myself
with 3 or 4 identical copies of hundreds of emails in a POP inbox.
Anyone have any suggestions for a script (or other tool) for removing the
redundant copies?
