Is it possible to display a progress indicator for an applescript process.
In my case it's for a process happening via a shell script run from an applescript.
I remember seeing something in a quicktime example script once but I can't find the examples anymore.

This is available through AppleScript Studio--I don't think it's part of AppleScript or the Standard Additions ("display dialog" is pretty much the only UI element that can be called from basic AS).

I've found a solution using BP Progress Bar. http://scriptbuilders.net/files/bpprogressbar1.0.html .
