Is there a way to make an Applescript into a contextual menu item?
You could put the Applescript into a "Run Applescript" Automator action and save it as a Finder plug-in. I've done that before and it works well.

That eventually did it, but I had to rewrite much of the script; Automator didn't like handlers, and I had to get rid of the repeat loop because for some reason it went into an infinite loop.

But because it's three sub menus down (more-->Automator-->script) , it's not as convenient to invoke as using the script menu.  I'd like to find a way to put it at the top level of the contextual menu.
