- Thread-topic: Is there a list of known bugs in Keychain Scripting?
I'd like to second the request for any information on Keychain scripting and
Leopard.
Shortly after Leopard was first released I found that keychain scripting had
all sorts of problems. Until recently I was developing on Tiger, but now
that I've upgraded to Leopard, I'm faced with these issues again.
I do recall there were some issues with strings vs Unicode text, and some
major problems when building an app in Leopard but having it crash in Tiger.
I will report more details as necessary but would like to know if this is a
known / reported issue, whether it has been resolved with 10.5.3 or will it
be, and if not what are the work-arounds?
FWIW, for the most part I switched to blowfish encryption which is faster
and not prone to bugs but in some cases I do want to access the keychain.
