Hi all,
At last, I can use the following script and get it work fine as it
should when I wrote it on the early days of Tiger.
tell application "Finder"
set position of front window to {0, 44}
end tell
I installed Tiger on the day it was out (released) and saw that bug (I
saw so many since that). My though was: "Apple will remove it for
10.4.1, it is a so obvious bug". But no, they do not do that!
Now, on 10.4.11 (what is certainly the last Tiger edition), this still
does not work!
Shame on you Apple, shame on you...
Emile "anger" Schwarz
PS: I fall into that corrected bug after using 10.5.5 for less than a 5
minutes usage. I also saw another bug remove (probably in Preview, but I
do not remember what was that bug.)
PPS: as times goes by, I believe more and more that 10.4 is the WORST OS
Apple have ever released (all platform are considered).
