I've just tried to reproduce the problem on another user account. I had to email myself a dmg attachment which I moved to the other user. I did get the warning message ...

	"MainAppl" is an application which was attached to a mail
	message. Are you sure you want to open it?

The warning message did not appear when either of the applications in / Contents/Resources/ was launched. One is called internally by "MainAppl", the other is launched with an alias file.

I suspect there are other conditions as yet unknown to me. We'll see.
