I need to convert a document from MacRoman with Mac linebreaks to 'Western

Hamish 'has' Sanderson's TextCommands osax seemed like the right tool for
that job. But after installing the osax, the example from the documentation
"set winStyleText to convert linebreaks anyText to Windows format" doesn't
even compile.

Tried on two different PPC machines under 10.4.11. TextCommands osax
installed in ~/Library/ScriptingAdditions (also tried
/Library/ScriptingAdditions). Another osax, Satimage, works fine.

I'm hoping the problem with TextCommands can be fixed. But if not, how do
others script transliteration?

Smile does that, too.
