Worked in my apps fine also.
In fact its one of the main reasons why the tools we did became such a success in our company (and allowed us to increase the number of Macs in use by several factors, just in case anybody from Apple is reading this ...). There are just a number of things you cannot do in AppleScript (and before I cause another "discussion" about this topic to start, I'll add) or at least I could not do as productive or efficient.
