What do you mean you can't type the accented characters?
???????

I just typed those with the Greek keyboard setting.

If you are on a US/British keyboard and change the setting to Greek you can
then type each character in 2 keystrokes. The accent is done with the ; key
and you then press the other character key to create the accented character.

Interesting - except they look like question marks on receipt.

Let me try it: άίύέΆΈΊΎ΄Ν΄ώΏ

Yep, it seems to work but do you receive accented Greek characters?
(When I tried it originally, it didn't work!)
How do you type a real semicolon?
