Re Selection

Dear AS Studio Members,
 
I would like to re-phrase my previous questions about "the selection".
 
The Script Editor has a class "selection-object" with item "character range".
The statement "character range of selection of front document" returns the selection start and end.
 
Can i obtain the selection in the "description" pane?
