Clipboard to iPod note

iPod note files have a 4k size limitation.

Does anyone have a copy of the 'clipboard to iPod note' AppleScript which Apple originally hosted on their web site, please?

I need to chop .txt files into 3.9kb chunks (intelligently if possible). Some of these files contain accented Greek text which, I assume, is unicode.
