My bad on our FileServer, we are running 10.4.11 not 10.3.9... but
haven't run an update in some time.

Jon's Command rev number is 2.1.2.
That might be good advice:
But I am running it on OS 8.6.

3.0d2 - Made "copyFile" able to overwrite locked files when
replacing. Removed "script systems" from "machine environment"
command since I'm not sure what it really means any more. Removed
"run script resource" for simplicity's sake. Removed "with large
range" parameter from "sound volume" and "set sound volume to".
Range is now 0-256 all the time. Made debug version really have
debug code and resources. Made scripts coerce to strings instead
of other way around. Removed "alias information" since its reason
to be was to access the zone & server info, which is no longer
available because it is AppleTalk only and doesn't exist on X.
Made "copyFile" return a proper folder reference when copying a
directory. Made "machine environment" include the complete version
number.<br>
Could the files be getting locked?
Jon
