OK, I don't know why, but when I change the user to log in with Admin
privs, it works... even though the user I am using belongs to the
group that has read write privs.
It's not a big deal... obviously, something on the server did change
although no one touched it. I will simply give the user running the
script (and therefore mounting the shared drive) admin access for the
interim.
