Hi:

I normally use Filemaker (a database) to control batch image processing for
Photoshop, Intaglio, or GraphicConverter. It gives a visual reference as
well as acting as the scripting "command center" or "dashboard". Paths are
calculated, scripts are fired, math is performed, exceptions can be dealt
with, provides reporting and a permanent reference, is networkable, etc.
