- Thread-topic: Changing permissions on a volume
Hi guys
I have a lab of 20 new iMacs which I imaged over the summer
using NetRestore.
On the image I created 2 partitions on the Hard drive called
System and Data. The Data partition is for students to save their video work
locally instead of transferring large video files over the network. I have
discovered that they do not have write access to this volume and I was looking an
apple script or UNIX scirpt can be run from ARD that can change the permissions
on the Data partition so everyone has read/write access.
Problem is I do not know where to start with the script.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Noel
