Have you tested with only two threads? (running applets) It should take 200
CPU, but I don't know if it would be as fast as in your tests...


I've tetsted with 8 threads (one thread per oner folder). Generally speaking, AppleScript applet does not runs with 100% power of CPUs.
Parallel-processing version runs with full power.


I'll make parallel processing evaluation kit..
