What's the syntax for that? I tried all three of the following and I get either syntax errors during compile or runtime errors

open aFolderAlias

close frontmost window
close window whose frontmost = true
tell frontmost window
	close
end

I don't know that you're doing anything wrong, but if all you're after is
the name so you can close the folder, it's probably not necessary -- you can
just close the frontmost window.
