Title: Photomerge again...
Hello again. I recently asked for advice on scripting Photoshop’s Photomerge which everyone sadly determined was not possible. I have a new question, but first I’d like to explain my goal a little more clearly. The purpose of scripting Photomerge was actually to simply time how long it takes to process the same images multiple times. Since it takes hours per run (very large files), I had hoped to script it and run the script overnight.
Since it is not scriptable, my new thought is to launch Photomerge manually to set it in motion. Since when it is finished, the composite image is simply an open file (if it would save the file then I’d have the date and time it finished), I was wondering if anyone can think of a way to detect when Photomerge has completed its processing. I don’t know enough about scripting Photoshop, so I’m hoping someone has an idea I can try.
Thanks in advance!
Ken
