I solved this in QuicKeys not on the copying side, but the paste side.

Run a shell script "pbpaste|pbcopy"

Pause 0.5 seconds

Type keystroke command-v

Hey Emmanuel,

That does work nicely from Smile, but I'm running from QuicKeys and need a native or an osax solution.
