Except it's apparently now called AppleScript Editor and lives in Utilities.
It could be that Thomas hasn't found it. (It may be the problems he has hit
come from using the old Leopard Script Editor off a different partition. He
shouldn't do that.)

AppleScript Studio was always done in Xcode (and Interface Builder). What's
replaced it is the language (terminology and structure) now used in Xcode
for Applescript projects. It apparently goes under the name of
AppleScriptObj and is a bridge to ObjC.
