Server log on script

  • Subject: Server log on script

Hello List,
I am trying to create a script hat will allow a user that is already logged on to the server, to log on as a different user with a unique password (I hope that made sense). For example, if "Joe" is logged in to the server I occasionally need him to also log in as "Tony" as well. "Joe" and "Tony" have different permissions. No one on the network knows that "Tony" exists or that he has a special place on the server and I need it to stay that way. I thought that if I created something simple like the following it would work:

tell application "Finder"
mount volume "afp://Tony:email@hidden.1.1/Tonyshouse"
end tell

Nope, doesn't work. It still sees Joe with his limitations and Joe cannot get into "Tonyshouse"
Is what I am trying to do even possible without having to unmount all of the shares associated with "Joe" and if so, how?

Thanks,
—C
