New Folder Needs Password

Still having a problem with privileges on a sparsebundle.
The work-around did not continue to work.

Currently, a sparsebundle created by the standard user "Dummy" cannot be opened by "Dummy". When "Dummy" tries to manually open the sparsebundle, I get the message ...
The following disk images couldn't be opened
	Reason: not recognized

But, if I login as the admin user "lutherfuller", and give the sparsebundle file the privileges
	lutherfuller(me) read write
then I can mount the sparsebundle's disk and copy files into it.

If I again login as "Dummy", mounting the sparsebundle's disk still fails.

Privileges on sparsebundle files seem to have a problem, but I'm still confused about its exact nature.
Anyone know anything more?
