Yes, you are correct.  I had not yet added the command to the application's "Responds To Commands".

Thank you Emmanuel.  I had tested something like that but hoped that I could learn something from it.

So now, at least the script compiles and runs and AEDebugReceives log says that the app receives the event.  Now I just have to figure out why it doesn't hit the method viewErrorsFromWorker :(
