The same here when opened the first time.
1 second to launch the application, 2 seconds to open the Library window.
When opened second and more
0 second to launch the application (cannot be measured), 1 second to open the Library window.
Intel iMac 21.5", 10.6.2, 3.06GHz, 4 gigs RAM
