Hi,
I download id3tool and set a file to have a different Track Name,
Artist Name and Album Name. If I then import this track into iTunes,
it DOES NOT take note of the new Names. I need to be able to set
change these fields in an mp3 file and have iTunes recognize the new
names.
It looks like id3tool is setting different attributes to the ones
iTunes is reading.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks a lot
Dave

You should find some tools you can use to manage MP3 files. So just
create an MP3 with 1 sec of silence, copy it with your script, set
the tags with one of those tools and there you go.
